On 29 June – 1 July, The Entertainment Quarter will play host to the inaugural Beer & BBQ Festival, thanks to the team behind the highly successful Adelaide event. For the first time in Sydney, now the second largest Beer Festival in the nation, the event will bring together a massive, eclectic lineup of brewers from across the country, world and an Australian first international collab series of beers launching exclusively at the festival.
There will be over sixty brewers and cider makers with International guest brewery: Brewdog, featuring collabs with some of Australia’s best breweries. BrewDog is one of the most respected names in craft brewing worldwide, so Beer & BBQ Festival has brought one of their top dogs out here to Australia to brew exclusively with some of the country’s leading breweries in a series that has never been attempted before. Franz Horak (the Germanic wonder) is BrewDog’s longest serving brewer and leads the commissioning of new breweries in their plans for world domination; which will include a brand spanking new facility in Brisbane later this year.
