Real Bodies The Exhibition will be hosting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Tours and Workshops these July School Holidays for kids ages 6 – 12, bringing another dimension of learning to the Living World Curriculum. The kid-friendly tours are designed to be fun and educational, and our hands-on workshops include a take-home project to continue to inspire your young scientist.
Activities and Workshops
Mondays: Hearts and Crafts
Journey into the science of love with a deep dive session in the ‘Rhythm’ Gallery during the tour, followed by a hand—on craft workshop where children will experiment with heartbeats and dance, and create their very own inflatable heart!
Wednesdays: Brain Power
Think fast with a deep dive session in the ‘Think’ Gallery focusing on the brain and its various functions. Afterwards, test your reflexes and your memory as we make 2-d brain sculptures!
Fridays: Got Guts?!
Hungry for learning? We’ve got you covered! We are going to get to the bottom of it in the ’Hunger’ Gallery, before creating a wearable map of your guts!
Real Bodies The Exhibition explores life by displaying 20 real, perfectly preserved human bodies and over 200 anatomical specimens.
