On Saturday, 3 November and Sunday, 4 November, BlackBear BBQ, BBQ Garage and the Australasian Barbecue Alliance are bringing the sights and sounds of the farm back to The Entertainment Quarter, home to the Royal Easter Show from 1882 – 1998.
The Showring will be transformed into a rural exhibition showcasing local produce and local farming techniques including mustering, cattle dog demonstrations, horsemanship, whip cracking demos and live music.
Some of Sydney’s best pop up kitchens will be on site to make sure you don’t leave hungry.
The Kingsford Invitational BBQ Competition will also be running with the top barbecue teams battling it out for bragging rights and more than $40,000 in cash, prizes and trophies.
Barbecue relies on good home grown produce. Join us in celebrating and supporting our farmers, while they showcase the quality product they produce.
25% of funds from tickets will go to Buy A Bale, helping support Australia’s rural communities and Aussie farmers, providing tangible resources to drought affected communities. On top of the ticket price donation, there will also be direct donations available at the event from various activities and partners.
This event is free entry.
